El nervi ci\u00e0tic s'est\u00e9n des de la part baixa de l'esquena fins als malucs i les natges, i despr\u00e9s baixa per cada cama.\n\nLa ci\u00e0tica sol afectar nom\u00e9s un costat del cos. El dolor pot variar de lleu a sever i pot incloure sensaci\u00f3 d'adormiment, formigueig o debilitat a la cama afectada.\n\nLes causes m\u00e9s comunes de la ci\u00e0tica inclouen:\n\n* **H\u00e8rnies de disc:** Quan el material tou dins d'un disc intervertebral surt i pressiona el nervi ci\u00e0tic.\n* **Espolons ossis (oste\u00f2fits):** Creixements ossis que poden sorgir a les v\u00e8rtebres i comprimir el nervi.\n* **Estenosi espinal:** L'estretament del canal espinal, que pot pressionar els nervis espinals, incl\u00f2s el nervi ci\u00e0tic.\n* **Espondilolistesi:** Quan una v\u00e8rtebra llisca sobre una altra, podent comprimir nervis.\n* **S\u00edndrome piramidal:** El m\u00fascul piramidal a les natges pot tensar-se o spasmar-se i comprimir el nervi ci\u00e0tic.\n* **Traumatisme a la zona lumbar:** Una lesi\u00f3 directa a l'esquena.\n\nEl tractament per la ci\u00e0tica dep\u00e8n de la causa subjacent i pot incloure:\n\n* **Rep\u00f2s:** Evitar activitats que empitjorin el dolor.\n* **Medicaments:** Antiinflamatoris no esteroidals (AINEs), relaxants musculars o medicaments per al dolor nervi\u00f3s.\n*   **Fisioter\u00e0pia:** Exercicis espec\u00edfics per millorar la flexibilitat, la for\u00e7a i la postura.\n*   **Injeccions:** Injeccions d'esteroides a prop del nervi per reduir la inflamaci\u00f3.\n*   **Cirurgia:** En casos greus o quan altres tractaments no funcionen, es pot considerar la cirurgia per alleujar la pressi\u00f3 sobre el nervi. <\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-16aa038 elementor-widget__width-initial elementor-widget-tablet__width-inherit elementor-widget-mobile__width-inherit elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"16aa038\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>La ci\u00e0tica es caracteritza per un dolor punxant que s'origina a la part baixa de l'esquena i pot estendre's per la cama, seguint el curs del nervi ci\u00e0tic. Aquest dolor resulta de la pressi\u00f3 o irritaci\u00f3 del nervi, i durant l'embar\u00e0s, sovint \u00e9s provocat per la combinaci\u00f3 de factors com l'augment de pes, canvis en la postura i la pressi\u00f3 de l'\u00fater en expansi\u00f3.<\/p><p>La ci\u00e0tica no \u00e9s una condici\u00f3 m\u00e8dica per si mateixa, sin\u00f3 un s\u00edmptoma d'un altre problema, generalment relacionat amb la compressi\u00f3 o irritaci\u00f3 del nervi ci\u00e0tic.
